The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents is a registered charity which was established over 80 years ago. Providing information, advice, resources and training, RoSPA is actively involved in the promotion of safety in all areas of life - at work, in the home, and on the roads, in schools, at leisure and on or near water. RoSPA aims to campaign for change, influence opinion, contribute to debate, educate and inform - for the good of all. Kid Rapt are not suppliers to the general public per se, we are wholesale suppliers primarily to the Health, Safety, and accident prevention organisations who are often working within a government remit. This includes NHS Trusts, local government, grant funded specialised projects, community action groups and charities.
Child Accident Prevention Trust is a national charity in the United Kingdom committed to reducing the number of children and young people killed, disabled and seriously injured as a result of accidents. Our aim is to improve the health and well-being of people in England. Here you will find the latest on the Department's work, as well as health and social care guidance, publications and policy.
Established in April 1994, the HAPG consists of senior Environmental Health staff from all of the District and Borough Council within the County Council; and representatives of Hertfordshire Health Agency, and its Health Promotion Service.
The Council was set up in 1931 with aims and objectives which are still valid and essential today - to co-ordinate and stimulate accident prevention in all facets of daily life. Over the years it has responded to the significant changes of lifestyle and technology, and has recently revised its constitution to try to achieve the most effective means of pursuing its objectives.
The Children's Fire and Burn Trust (CFBT) is committed to providing support for burn and scald injured children and their families. In parallel, we run education and public awareness programmes designed to prevent these injuries. We are the only UK charity working both nationally and internationally who are devoted solely to these areas.
The Injury Observatory for Britain and Ireland (IOBI) as been established by members of the Association of Public Health Observatories in collaboration with a number of key academic Institutions. The Purpose o the thematic injury observatory is to support injury prevention practitioners by making important and relevant information and tools available in one site.
