The Institute welcomes new members who have an interest and involvement in home safety. Current membership includes people from:

•  Fire Service
• Voluntary sector
• Business sector and those with a longstanding commitment to the field of home safety.

Members benefit from regular email updates, the opportunity to network, share best practice and attend occasional events organised by the Institute. They also have the opportunity to contribute to the national debate on issues around home safety and play a significant role in raising its profile. The more members we have as an organisation, the greater our influence can be in moving home safety up the agenda.

If you’ve been involved in a role that includes home safety for more than two years, you can apply to become a full member of the Institute.
